On the agenda

As the city filed it

Speeding and not stopping at the Stop sign has created a dangerous situation on Janet Boulevard. Toronto Police have regularly enforced both offences. Numerous tickets have been issued but speeding and not stopping at the stop sign continue. I am very concerned for the safety of residents specifically children and seniors. I hosted a community consultation meeting, TPS reported that numerous tickets were issued, and residents expressed their concerns relating to community safety.

The installation of speed humps is one of the tools to assist with discouraging speeding. Based on the numerous tickets issued and community safety concerns, I am requesting an expedited installation of speed humps on Janet Blvd.
