As the city filed it

Residents in North Rosedale have often reached out to my office with concerns over speeding on the streets within their residential area. Transportation Services has applied a number safety measures to mitigate road incidents including new signage, pavement markings and parking changes. Today I am requesting a speed limit reduction as a means to limit dangerous conflicts on Roxborough Street East. As outlined in the City of Toronto's Vision Zero Road Safety Plan Speed Management Strategy, higher speeds can contribute to higher risk of serious injury and fatalities.
