The Toronto and East York Community Council directed: 1. Staff schedule a community consultation meeting for the applications located at 415 Broadview Avenue together with the Ward Councillor. 2. Notice for the community consultation meeting be given to landowners and residents within 120 metres of the application site, and to additional residents, institutions and owners to be determined in consultation with the Ward Councillor, with any additional mailing costs to be borne by the applicant.

3. Planning staff to pursue the inclusion of long-term affordable housing units that will be provided within the proposed development and include the number and size of the affordable units in City Planning's final report. 4. Planning staff take all necessary measures to conserve with Heritage Preservation Services staff on the cultural heritage value and heritage attributes of the property over the long term. 5. Planning staff invite staff from the Housing Secretariat, Heritage Planning and Transportation Services to attend and comment at the Community Consultation Meeting.

This report provides information and identifies a preliminary set of issues regarding the applications at 415 Broadview Avenue to modify and build on top of the existing heritage church onsite, with a proposed 10-storey addition. Staff do not support this proposal as currently submitted. Substantial revisions are required to meet the policies in the Official Plan. Staff are currently reviewing the application. The application has been circulated to all appropriate agencies and City divisions for comment.
