The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Amended the existing stopping prohibition in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the west side of Poplar Plains Road between Macpherson Avenue and a point 43 metres south of Russell Hill Road, to be in effect between Macpherson Avenue and Cottingham Street. 2. Prohibited stopping from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the west side of Poplar Plains Road between a point 20.2 metres north of Cottingham Street and a point 43 metres south of Russell Hill Road.

I am writing to respectfully request a number of parking amendments on Poplar Plains Road to facilitate the establishment of a lay-by as part of The Mabin School Reconstruction project. The lay-by, which widens the existing road structure, would go a long way to improve traffic flow and improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists. My office set up a Construction Liaison Committee that provides a platform for residents
