City Council on May 10, 11 and 12, 2023, adopted the following: 1. City Council rescind the existing commercial loading zone in effect at all times, on the south side of Danforth Avenue, between a point 33.8 metres east of Chester Avenue and a point 10 metres further east.

CaféTO has transformed the public realm and is a critical source of revenue for businesses and restaurants, many of which are still feeling the crushing impacts of the pandemic. An existing commercial loading zone near a Danforth restaurant limits their ability to secure a CaféTO curb lane café permit. The removal of this loading zone is required in order to support them to continue operating a successful curb lane café.
