There will always be challenges and unexpected contingencies. That is why open, transparent oversight is essential in building our shared confidence that the games are being delivered to the standard Torontonians expect. To ensure proper oversight of the budget, the Financial Planning Division has assigned FWC26 to an analyst, who will ensure FWC26 finances are reported on separately from other City budgets. This reporting, as well as procurement related to the games and issues such as community benefits will be considered together by a dedicated sub-committee of Executive Commitee.
