The Etobicoke York Community Council: 1. Re-opened Item EY15.10 titled "56 Coney Road - Request for a Fence Exemption to the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447". 2. Deleted its decision on Item EY15.10 and adopted the following: 1. The Etobicoke York Community Council granted the application for a fence exemption permit to increase the existing corner lot front yard fence height to 1.83 metres, in addition to imposing conditions to improve sight lines as per the submitted fence exemption report.

Directed and required the approved fence be maintained in good repair without alteration. At such time as a replacement of the fence is required, such installation will comply with Municipal Code Chapter 447, Fences, or its successor by-law.

Following the July 16, 2024 Etobicoke York Community Council meeting, my office connected with staff in relation to this Fence Exemption Application. They have asked me to re-open this Item so we can correct the language on file as the report has conflicting information.

Councillor Amber Morley recommends that: 1. The Etobicoke York Community Council re-open Item EY15.10 titled "56 Coney Road - Request for a Fence Exemption to the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447". 2. The Etobicoke York Community Council delete its decision on Item EY15.10 and adopt the following: Grant the application for a fence exemption permit to increase the existing corner lot front yard fence height to 1.83 metres, in addition to imposing conditions to improve sight lines as per the submitted fence exemption report.
