The Etobicoke York Community Council: 1. Re-opened Item EY14.7, titled "94 Cowley Avenue - Request for a Fence Exemption to the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447". 2. Deleted its decision on Item EY14.7 and adopted the following: 1. The Etobicoke York Community Council granted the application for a fence exemption permit (with or without conditions) to the property owner of 94 Cowley Avenue, thereby allowing the installation of a vinyl fence on the north and east sides of the rear yard.

Also, directed and required the rear yard fences be maintained in good repair without alteration. At such time as replacement of the fence is required, the installation will comply with Municipal Code Chapter 447, Fences, or its successor by-law.

At its June 3, 2024 meeting, the Etobicoke York Community Council granted the application for a fence exemption permit to the property owner of 94 Cowley Avenue, however the description of the location of the fence was incorrectly listed in the staff report dated May 6, 2024, from the District Manager, Municipal Licensing and Standards, West District. The Etobicoke York Community Council re-open Item EY14.7, titled "94 Cowley Avenue - Request for a Fence Exemption to the Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 447". 2. The Etobicoke York Community Council delete its decision on Item EY14.7 and adopt the following: Grant the application for a fence exemption permit (with or without conditions) to the property owner of 94 Cowley Avenue, thereby allowing the installation of a vinyl fence on the north and east sides of the rear yard.
