This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending that the parking regulations on Toynbee Trail, adjacent to St. Ursula Catholic Elementary School (2151 Livingstone Road), be amended. The proposed changes will align the operating times of the short-term parking areas with the school's hours of operation and will assist in ensuring safer traffic flow during peak times for all modes.

The Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Scarborough Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Toynbee Trail, between Livingston Road (south intersection) and a point 210.5 metres east of Livingston Road (south intersection). 2. Scarborough Community Council enact 30-minute time-limited parking from 8:00 a.m.
