On the agenda
As the city filed it
I am writing to request your support in implementing stop control for southbound motorists on Bowman Street at Carlton Street. There are no existing traffic controls and the right-of-way rule applies at Bowman Street and Carlton Street. Following a review by the City's Vision Zero Projects, a minor street stop control was recommended at this uncontrolled three-way "T" type intersection to clearly define the right-of-way, regulate traffic flow and enhance driver and pedestrian safety.
Staff recommended
It is recommended that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize compulsory stop control for southbound traffic on Bowman Street at Carlton Street.
