City Council on February 6 and 7, 2024, adopted the following: 1. City Council prohibit stopping at all times on the south side of Queen Street East, between Connaught Avenue and a point 15 metres west. 2. City Council prohibit stopping at all times on the south side of Queen Street East, between a point 33.6 metres west of Connaught Avenue and a point 36 metres further west.

Parking amendments are recommended on Queen Street East in relation to the removal of the TTC stop at Connaught Avenue. This proposal would enhance sight lines for street car operators using the driveway of the TTC Russell Yard Street Yard on Queen Street East, and to provide for safe parking in the vicinity of the driveway and streetcar tracks.
