This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is requesting approval to install a compulsory stop control at the yield-controlled, "T" type intersections of Lesmount Avenue at Davies Crescent and Cadorna Avenue at Davies Crescent. Based on an assessment undertaken, the installation of compulsory stop controls at these intersections is recommended to clearly define the right-of-way and enhance safety for all road users.

During the course of the investigation, it was noted that there is a discrepancy between posted signs and the existing parking regulations. Recommendations 5 and 6 will correct this inconsistency.

Toronto and East York Community Council authorize a compulsory stop control for northbound traffic at the intersection of Lesmount Avenue and Davies Crescent.
