Residents requested the implementation of overnight on-street permit parking on Newman Avenue to accommodate their long-term parking needs.

The Director, Permits and Enforcement, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize parking by permit only on an area basis, from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily on the even (west) side of Newman Avenue between Secord Avenue and Goodwood Park Crescent, within Area 9A. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times during the months of May, July, September and November on the east side of Newman Avenue, between Secord Avenue and Goodwood Park Crescent.
