This report recommends approving a contract with Tony Battista Paving Inc. ("Battista") for Asphalt and Concrete Repair Services on an as required basis at various locations on Exhibition Place grounds, for a period of one (1) year, with an option to renew for an additional three (3) years. The Request for Quotation was issued on December 9, 2024, through Exhibition Place Purchasing Department via Bonfire Online Procurement System, and prices per linear meter on various type of work were obtained from a number of vendors.

The recommendation is to award the contract to the lowest compliant bidder meeting Request for Quotation requirements and specifications within the available budget. This project is both time and weather sensitive and to meet construction timelines, as well as, to leverage window of opportunity available during between scheduled events. This recommendation follows the competitive Request for Quotation process undertaken by Exhibition Place considering nine (9) companies that have experience providing these services.
