City Council on July 23 and 24, 2025, adopted the following: 1. City Council rescind the existing designated taxicab stand regulation in effect at all times except from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Monday to Friday on the north side of Danforth Avenue, west of Woodbine Avenue.

As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on the subject streets, City Council approval of this report is required. Transportation Services is recommending that the existing taxicab stand on the north side of Danforth Avenue, west of Woodbine Avenue, be removed to include this space in the existing paid parking area.
