The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Authorized the installation of speed humps on Virginia Avenue, between Fairside Avenue and Binswood Avenue. 2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a By-law to alter the roadway for the installation of four speed humps on Virginia Avenue, between Fairside Avenue and Binswood Avenue, generally as shown on Attachment 2 to the report (June 19, 2025) from the Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Virginia Avenue, between Fairside Avenue and Binswood Avenue. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Virginia Avenue.

Toronto and East York Community Council authorize the installation of speed humps on Virginia Avenue, between Fairside Avenue and Binswood Avenue. 2.
