The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Authorized an all-way compulsory stop control at the intersection of Logan Avenue and Floyd Avenue. 2. Requested the General Manager, Transportation Services to install an in-road flexible speed sign on Mortimer Avenue, east of Carlaw Avenue indicating the 30 kilometres per hour speed limit. 3. Requested the General Manager, Transportation Services to introduce additional 'zebra' road markings to improve pedestrian visibility at the intersection of Logan Avenue and Floyd Avenue.

Following the consultations on the Leaside Bridge to Danforth cycling connections, I have received substantial feedback from residents in the neighbourhood. The recent meeting on June 16th, 2025 was an opportunity to provide feedback on potential contraflow bike lanes on Logan Avenue and Carlaw Avenue. The feedback received highlights both the opportunities and the concerns associated with the proposed designs. There were significant concerns raised regarding the potential impacts of contraflow lanes on accessibility, including challenges for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Given the extended nature of the consultation process and the need for further study of alternative routes, I request that the staff implement interim safety measures to enhance cycling safety in the immediate term.
