City Council waive Section 8.3, Short-listing Process, and Section 8.6, Interviewing Candidates, of the City of Toronto Public Appointments Policy and appoint Paul Scrivener to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority Board, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on December 15, 2027, and until a successor is appointed. 2. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1a, 1b and 2 to the report (May 6, 2026) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.

During the review of the Order Paper on May 20, 2026, City Council adopted a procedural motion to remove this item from the jurisdiction of the Civic Appointments Committee and bring it forward for consideration by City Council.
