Why is this story here?
ContainedThe decision is a genuine one affecting a major public facility and its funding for a year, but it is bounded to Exhibition Place operations and reversible without institutional restructuring. The item is a routine annual capital budget cycle.Touches a narrow groupIf adopted, the $20.075 million budget funds repairs and upgrades to buildings, parking, roads, and security systems at Exhibition Place. Visitors and event organizers may notice improved conditions, but the effect is incremental maintenance rather than a new service or a direct change to anyone's week.

Stories are ordered by how much weight a decision carries and how directly it reaches daily life. They rise as a decision date approaches and fall as they age.
