Authorized the installation of traffic calming (12 speed humps) on Ambleside Avenue, between Islington Avenue and Bentley Drive, generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing Number TC-598, TC-598-1 and TC-598-2, to the report (January 30, 2026) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending the installation of 12 speed humps on Ambleside Avenue, between Islington Avenue and Bentley Drive. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Ambleside Avenue.

The Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council authorize the installation of traffic calming (12 speed humps) on Ambleside Avenue, between Islington Avenue and Bentley Drive, generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing Number TC-598, TC-598-1 and TC-598-2, dated October 2025 from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.
