City Council to correct the legal description in the permanent street closure by-law for the Six Points area
City Council will consider a corrective by-law to fix the legal descriptions in a 2021 street closure decision at Dundas, Kipling and Bloor in the Six Points neighbourhood. The original by-law could not be registered on title because it mistakenly included a parcel (Part 4 on Plan 66R-31942) that should not have been closed. The correction removes that parcel and clarifies which lands are actually being permanently closed as public highway. The underlying policy intent and redevelopment purpose remain unchanged.
