On the agenda

As the city filed it

Several residents have discussed speed limit concerns within their neighbourhood. The roads of concern are local roads with the speed limits of 50 kilometre per hour, I wish to reduce this speed limit to 40 kilometre per hour in conformity with other local roads in Don Valley East. Reasons for implementing these speed limit changes include: - The desire to reduce vehicle operating speed and improve pedestrian safety. - The need for a consistent posted speed limit on local roads, where some may not have sidewalks.
