Bradgate Road and Chatfield Drive are two local roads in the Don Mills Neighbourhood of Ward 16. Currently, parking is allowed on both roads with the city-wide 3-hour limit and North York snow removal by-laws in place. Residents contacted my office with concerns of overnight parking all year round (12 a.m. to 6 a.m). After discussions and a poll, a majority of residents (approximately 70 percent) were in favour of prohibiting parking during these times. At the request of the community, I am making the following recommendations.

Councillor Jon Burnside recommends that: 1. North York Community Council prohibit parking from 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., daily, on both sides of Bradgate Road, between Talwood Drive and the north end of Bradgate Road. 2. North York Community Council prohibit parking from 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., daily, on both sides of Chatfield Drive, between Bradgate Road (northeast intersection) and Bradgate Road (southwest intersection).
