The Board further confirms that this nominee is qualified to serve under the provisions of the City of Toronto's Public Appointments Policy and the Relationship Framework for Community Centre Boards of Management. On behalf of the Board, I respectfully request that the City take the necessary steps to appoint this nominated candidate. This appointment fills a vacancy on the board due to resignation: - Rachel Power, nominated at Applegrove's Annual Meeting on June 12, 2025, appointed by the City at the Toronto and East York Community Council meeting on July 8, 2025, and resigned effective October 6, 2025.
