Council to consider approving a three-storey athletic training facility for Toronto Tempo women's basketball at 701 Fleet Street
City Council will vote on whether to amend the Official Plan and Zoning By-law to permit the Toronto Tempo, Canada's first WNBA team, to build a training facility on city-owned land at 701 Fleet Street. The proposal includes public access to the facility during the team's off-season and a long-term lease with the city. A separate report on the lease terms is being considered by Executive Committee on July 21, 2026.
