At its June 23, 2025 meeting, the TTC Board approved amendments to the TTC's Authorization for Expenditures and Other Commitments policy, including an increase to the CEO's delegated authority to award contracts (other than single source) for budgeted goods and services. The CEO's contract award authority was increased from $5 million CAD to an amount up to the approved budget. The Board's approval of this increase included a requirement to report back semi-annually on contracts awarded under the delegated authority that exceed $5 million CAD.
