Bid Award Panel grant authority to award the contract in accordance with the Contract Details set out in the report (July 22, 2019) from the Chief Purchasing Officer: Call Number: Tender Call 158-2019, Contract 19ECS-TI-16BE Description: Donino Avenue Bridge over the West Don River Rehabilitation and Superstructure Replacement. This includes the removal and reconstruction of the bridge superstructure, modification of the abutments to semi-integral abutments, relocation of the existing watermain onto a new support structure adjacent to the bridge and buried at the bridge approaches. Recommended Bidder: Soncin Construction Contract Award Value: $1,989,742 net of all applicable taxes and charges $2,248,408 including HST and all applicable charges $2,024,762 net of HST recoveries Contract is expected to start on date of award and end no later than February 28, 2020.
