Selection of Candidates for Interview for the Exhibition Place Board
The Civic Appointments Committee will select candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the Exhibition Place Board. The Civic Appointments Committee will conduct interviews at its next meeting and recommend two candidates to City Council for appointment.
The Civic Appointments Committee: 1. Selected the following candidates for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Exhibition Place Board: EPL2-153 EPL2-163 EPL2-165 EPL2-182 EPL2-187 EPL2-194 2. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (May 17, 2023) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Exhibition Place Board.

The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Civic Appointments Committee select six of the candidates listed in Table 1 of Confidential Attachment 1 to be interviewed at its next meeting for appointment to the Exhibition Place Board. 2. The Civic Appointments Committee direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Exhibition Place Board.

The Civic Appointments Committee must select candidates to interview for appointment to the Toronto Zoo Board. Following the interviews, the Civic Appointments Committee will recommend three candidates for appointment to City Council.
The Civic Appointments Committee: 1. Selected the following candidates for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Zoo Board: TZB2-99 TZB2-117 TZB2-126 TZB2-138 TZB2-151 TZB2-155 TZB2-158 TZB2-159 2. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (May 16, 2023) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals currently appointed or being considered for appointment to the Toronto Zoo Board.

The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the following candidates to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026, and until successors are appointed: Pink Angel Micah Chu Andre Cooper Jad Jaber Ranjith Kulatilake Kay Mehrizi Lauren Pragg Bamboo Ren Terrence Rodriguez Mark Toffoli Talin Wright Maiesha Zarin 2. City Council waive Section 2.1 of the Public Appointments Policy concerning the residency requirement and appoint Morrigana Townsend, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026, continuing to serve until a successor is appointed. 3. City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (May 16, 2023) from the Chief People Officer remain confidential as it relates to personal information about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee.
