Occupational Health and Safety Report - Third Quarter of 2021
This report provides information on the status of the Exhibition Place health and safety system, specifically on activities, priorities, and performance during the third quarter of 2021. There were 0 lost time injuries and the number of medical aid injuries in the third quarter were 0 for 2021 which was the same as in 2020. Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) invoiced costs for third quarter 2021 were 61 percent lower than in third quarter 2020. A decrease in Long Term Disability costs and repayment of a WSIB claim appeal win are attributable to the lower WSIB fees.

Community Liaison Consultation Meeting - October 28, 2021
This report summarizes the program items at the Community Liaison Consultation meeting held on October 28, 2021, and the comments and input provided by community members at that meeting. Hosting the meeting were the following Board Members: Councillor Cressy and Peter Leon. Exhibition Place staff in attendance included Don Boyle, Chief Executive Officer, Laura Purdy, General Manager, Tony Porter, Director-Transportation and Security, Gilles Bouchard, Director-Event Management Services, Kelvin Seow, Director-Stakeholder Management & Strategic Planning, Debbie Sanderson, Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Fernandes, IT Systems, and Catherine de Nobriga, Tenant and Community Relations Coordinator. Representatives from Optimus SBR conducted and engagement session as part of the Strategic Plan development. There were 31 members of the community attending the meeting. The meeting lasted approximately two hours with active participation by the community.

Toronto Parking Authority Agreement Extension - Parking Services Agreement
This report is to seek the Board authority to extend the Parking Services Agreement with Toronto Parking Authority ("TPA") for an additional term additional term of one (1) year, six (6) months and sixteen (16) days to end on March 31, 2023. This agreement is for TPA to maintain, repair, and operate Exhibition Place sixteen (16) Pay and Display parking equipment at eight (8) car parks, and also to provide, operate, and maintain the TPA Mobile Payment Program for the grounds parking areas. The proposed extension with TPA will be in accordance with the same commercial terms and conditions of the existing Agreement. The agreement extension is also subject to TPA Board's approval at their next Board meeting. Exhibition Place has two (2) parking services agreements with TPA as shown below, staff seek the Board authority to extend only the first agreement so that the two agreements will become co-terminus: # Nature of Agreement Start Date End Date 1 Parking Services Agreement: Maintain, repair, and operate Exhibition Place sixteen (16) Pay and Display parking equipment at eight (8) car parks and provide, and operate, and maintain the Mobile Payment Program for grounds parking areas, including the provision of revenue collections. 09/15/2016 09/14/2021 2 Parking Consultancy and Support Services Agreement: Provide consultancy, purchasing, installation and support services relating to (1) parking technology at the Enercare Centre parking garage, and (2) refurbishment of sixteen (16) grounds parking booths in the 8 car parks, including the provision of revenue collections. 04/01/2018 03/31/2023
The Board of Governors of Exhibition Place: 1. Authorized the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place to enter and execute on behalf of Exhibition Place, an extension to the Parking Equipment Services Agreement with Toronto Parking Authority to March 31, 2023 with respect to the grounds eight (8) car parks generally in accordance with the terms and conditions as previously agreed to or amended terms and conditions as may be acceptable to the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place.

Public Appointments to the Board
At its meeting held November 9, 10, and 12, 2021, City Council appointed the following two members to the board for a term of office from November 13, 2021 to November 10, 2025, and until successors are appointed: - Sharleen Ahmed - Howard Lichtman As part of this process, Paula Oliveria's term of office on the board came to an end effective November 12, 2021.
