Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Association Appointment for 2026
In January of each year, a Notice of Appointment of a Representative is received from the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (RAWF) requesting the appointment of one representative of the Board of Governors to the RAWF. As a member association of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, The Board is allowed to name one representative to the RAWF's Board of Governors for the 2026 year. As a representative, the member can raise issues pertinent to the interests of Exhibition Place as they relate to the business of the RAWF; the Board representative will be updated on financial matters of the Association, the strategic directions of the fair, and will have an opportunity to participate in the election of Directors.

This report recommends a multi-year agreement between a Tradeshow Client and Exhibition Place within Enercare Centre.

Approved multi-year license agreements with the Tradeshow Client for Enercare Centre, as set out in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 19, 2026) from the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place, for a 2-year term commencing in 2027 and expiring in 2028 on the terms and conditions of the standard Licence Agreement, and such other terms and conditions satisfactory to the Chief Executive Officer and the City Solicitor. 2. Directed that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 19, 2026) from the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place, remain confidential as it contains financial information, supplied in confidence to the Board, which, if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization.

Community Partnership Policy Update
At its meeting on February 4, 2025, the Board approved the Community Partnership Policy and instructed the CEO to further explore partnerships with local and community groups and to report back. This report summarises the community partnership engagements/commitments for 2025 and reflects on the overall progress of these collaborations between Exhibition Place and community organizations and individuals. The report will highlight key successes of the policy, including notable partnerships, attendance, community impact, and in-kind support provided.

Nighttime Economy - Letter of Support
This report responds to the Board recommendation from Item EP15.3 in February 2025 where the Board directed staff to provide a letter of support to tenants and event organizers at Exhibition Place for events held between May 1 and September 30, to be considered as Municipally Significant to apply for a Special Occasion Permit or a temporary extension of premises and/or hours for the sale of alcohol at permanently licensed locations, and staff report back annually to the Board on the Nighttime Economy - Municipally Significant Designation. Exhibition Place is Canada's most extensive entertainment venue, hosting more than 2,000 events and attracting over 6 million visitors annually. This iconic entertainment, music, and events site is pivotal in Toronto's cultural and economic fabric, generating over $594 million in annual economic impact. The grounds, with their multiple venues for sports teams, entertainment, music, and cultural events, are ideally situated to support the nighttime economy.

This report summarizes the discussions at the Tenant Liaison meeting held in person on December 11, 2025, at Enercare Centre. Community Liaison Meeting - November 20, 2025
This report summarizes the program items at the Community Liaison Consultation in person and virtual meeting held on November 20, 2025. Co-Hosting the meeting was Board Member Sharleen Ahmed. Exhibition Place staff in attendance included Don Boyle - Chief Executive Officer, Kelvin Seow - Chief People and Strategy Officer, Prashant Bhalja - Director, Capital Works, Catherine de Nobriga - Tenant and Community Relations Coordinator, Nigel Fernandes - IT Systems, and Debbie Sanderson - Executive Assistant to the CEO Twenty-five (25) community members attended the meeting; twenty-two (20) in person and five (5) virtually. The meeting lasted approximately 1.5 hours.

Recognition of Staff at Exhibition Place - United Way Campaign and Community Events Program
Exhibition Place employee recognized by the Board for recent outstanding accomplishment: 1. 2025 United Way City of Toronto Campaign Each year, to build a better city, the City of Toronto Public Service Staff, along with all Agencies, Boards, and Commissions participate in the annual city-wide fundraising program in support of United Way Toronto and York Region campaigns. Exhibition Place raised a grand total of $1,017.35 for the United Way of Toronto Campaign. In 2025 we focused our efforts on Old Technology Sales and the annual Ghost Walk Program. Over the last 21 years Exhibition Place has contributed $101,785.78 to the United Way Toronto and York Region campaigns. 2. 2025 Community Events Program Exhibition Place ran a collection of low-cost community events, where attendees would pay what they can to attend these events during the spring and summer months. Exhibition Place raised a grand total of $2,754.76 from our cumulative Community Events program organized during the spring and summer months: Yoga in the Park, Beekeeping, Pencil Sketching Techniques, Shape the Scene - A journey from Block-In to Detail, Draw Simplified Buildings with Lines and Values at the Horse Palace, Create a Story in Your Draw Urban Sketching at the Garden of the Greek Gods. All funds raised from these events were donated to The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) $1,629.76, and HeARTLab CAMH $1,125.00. Ms. Catherine de Nobriga is recognized for her dedication and hard work managing both the 2025 United Way City of Toronto Campaign, and the 2025 Community Events Program for Exhibition Place.

Structural, IT Infrastructure, and Electrical Upgrades at the Administration Building
This report recommends approving a contract with Ritestart Limited ("Ritestart") of Burlington, Ontario for the structural, IT infrastructure and electrical upgrades at the Administration Building (formerly Press Building). The tender for this contract was issued on November 28, 2025, through Exhibition Place Purchasing and Materials Stores via the Bonfire Online Procurement System, and the recommendation is to award the contract to the lowest compliant bidder meeting tender requirements and specifications within the available budget. This project is time sensitive as the existing IT systems are at their end of the service life and the condition of the main floor structural framing is deficient posing a potential safety concern.
