City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (April 24, 2019) from the City Clerk remains confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the George Bell Arena Board.

    Appointees' biographies: Deirdre Norman Deirdre Norman is a long time member of the community who brings her skills in communication, planning and organization to the George Bell Arena Board. She is a grassroots organizer for the women's hockey community worldwide and is an advocate for equity and accessibility. Bruce Tokiwa Born and raised in Mississauga, graduate of Erindale Secondary School and Wilfrid Laurier University with a BBA.

    Owned and operated a Country Style Donut Franchise and then moved into the Automotive Industry from managing gas stations and car rental locations, to selling software to automotive manufacturers and working with Franchisees and Associates of National Banners. Volunteered (no children) for the George Bell Hockey Association (Board, coach and instructor) and the George Bell Arena. Carlo Vinco Carlo Vinco is a resident of Weston and has lived in the community for five years. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto (1T0), where he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Political Science an Criminology. He worked several years in arenas on a part-time basis while attending school; and, briefly on a full-time basis after graduating. He currently works for Toys R Us Canada as an analyst in the E-Commerce Department.
