This report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. The purpose of this staff report is to advise on the feasibility of installing a 40 km/h speed limit on Biscayne Boulevard between Pharmacy Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue. The 40 km/h speed limit is justified based on the Pedestrian Environment portion of the 40 km/h speed limit warrant as per City Council Policy.

Staff recommended

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Scarborough Community Council reduce the speed limit from 50 km/h to 40 km/h on Biscayne Boulevard, between Pharmacy Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue.
