Scarborough Community Council: 1. Prohibited northbound and southbound U-turn movements at all times on Alexmuir Boulevard, between Valdor Drive and Carolbreen Square.

This staff report is about a matter that the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. This report recommends the installation of a U-Turn prohibition on Alexmuir Boulevard, between Valdor Drive and Carolbreen Square. The prohibition will reduce conflicts between all users and improve safety along this section of Alexmuir Boulevard which is a collector road in the vicinity of Alexmuir Junior Public School and St Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School.

Staff recommended

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, recommends that: 1. Scarborough Community Council prohibit northbound and southbound U-turn movements at all times on Alexmuir Boulevard, between Valdor Drive and Carolbreen Square.
