This staff report is about a matter that the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. This report recommends a U-turn prohibition on Orton Park Road, between a point 108 metres south of Ellesmere Road and a point 75 metres north of Slan Avenue. This prohibition will reduce conflicts between all users and improve safety along this section of Orton Park Road, which is a minor arterial road in the vicinity of Henry Hudson Senior Public School, a dog park, and Botany Hill Park.

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, recommends that: 1. Scarborough Community Council prohibit northbound and southbound U-turn movements at all times on Orton Park Road, between a point 108 metres south of Ellesmere Road and a point 75 metres north of Slan Avenue.
