The Executive Director, Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council, and the Executive Director, Native Child and Family Resource Centre and Member, Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee, will give a presentation on Indigenous Funding Framework. Social Development and Finance Administration is working with Indigenous leaders to develop a Funding Framework to allocate funding to Indigenous organizations and groups. The development of the funding framework builds on earlier work to decolonize granting, including amending the Toronto Grants Policy.

When complete in 2022 the Funding Framework will both increase the amount of funding allocated to Indigenous organization recognize the importance of self-determination in the use of funding. This presentation aims to update the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee and garner their comments.
