The City Clerk's Office has received notice that Blanche Meawassige has resigned from the Aboriginal Affairs Advisory Committee effective October 18, 2021. Staff from the Indigenous Affairs Office and the Public Appointments Secretariat in the City Clerk's Office are currently leading a process to recruit applicants and help bring nominated candidates to City Council for their consideration in order to fill a number of vacancies on the Committee.
