As the city filed it
The prohibition of on-street overnight parking south of Finch Avenue East was considered and approved by Scarborough Community Council on September 16, 2019. Subsequently, the previous Councillor received numerous emails from residents expressing their concerns that there was insufficient off-street parking available. COVID-19 only served to exacerbate the problem as family members consolidated their living arrangements to look after one another and unemployed family members returned home due to financial pressures.
