This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is reporting on the results of the traffic calming poll undertaken on Glenhaven Street, between Yore Road and Strathnairn Avenue. Polling ballots were mailed to the affected residents on October 14, 2021 to determine the level of support in the community for the proposed installation of speed humps.

Only 31 percent of the residents who received the ballots responded, as a result the minimum response rate of 50 percent plus 1 votes needed to proceed with the installation was not achieved. Therefore, staff do not recommend the installation of speed humps on Glenhaven Street, between Yore Road and Strathnairn Avenue.

The Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council not authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Glenhaven Street, between Yore Road and Strathnairn Avenue.
