The purpose of this report is to request authority to amend Purchase Order Number 6052605 issued to Moose Power Incorporated, as a result of Negotiated Request for Proposal Ariba Document Number 2219202727 for the Design and Construction of Solar Photovoltaic Rooftop Systems at City facilities. The Purchase Order Amendment is required to enhance the solar photovoltaic capacity and value of the project, increasing the total system size from 781 kilowatts, direct current to 1310 kilowatts, direct current.

This project is funded by the City's Sustainable Energy Plan Financing program, and the overall increased purchase order amount will still meet the Sustainable Energy Plan Financing requirements of a positive net present value and payback under 20 years. The total value of the Purchase Order Amendment being requested is $1,039,447 net of all taxes and charges ($1,057,742 net of Harmonized Sales Tax Recoveries), revising the current Purchase Order value from $1,777,694 net of all taxes and charges ($1,808,982 net of Harmonized Sales Tax Recoveries) to $2,817,142 net of all taxes and charges ($2,866,723 net of Harmonized Sales Tax Recoveries).
