The General Government Committee: 1. In accordance with Section 71-11.1C of the City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 71 (Financial Control Bylaw), granted authority to amend Blanket Contract 47024297 issued to The Uniform Group Inc., to increase the contract value by $2,423,799, net of all applicable taxes and charges ($2,466,458, net of HST recoveries), revising the total contract value from $232,143 to $2,655,942, net of all taxes and charges ($2,702,687, net of HST recoveries).

The purpose of this report is to seek authority to amend Blanket Contract Number 47024297 issued to The Uniform Group Inc. for the provision of additional uniform clothing (Trousers, Tunics, Breeches, Sweaters, Outerwear, Maternity Clothing, Dress Shirts and Business Shirts), from May 4, 2022 to November 30, 2023, with the option to renew for two (2) additional separate one (1) year periods remaining at the sole discretion of the City and subject to budget approval.

This amendment is required to fulfill the needs of the division's full uniform program by November 30, 2025, for improvements to the full uniform program for current staff and to cover additional staff recruitment to support the division's Council-approved staffing plan, using the existing The Uniform Group Inc. contract that was originally completed by Toronto Police Service and Toronto Fire Services.This Contract for Toronto Paramedic Services is a cooperative procurement issued contract based on Toronto Fire Services' original contract award participation with Toronto Police Service procurement award RFQ# 1387589-20. The total value of the Blanket Contract Amendment being requested is $2,423,799 net of all taxes and charges ($2,466,458, net of HST recoveries) to a total amount of $2,655,942 net of all taxes and charges ($2,702,687 net of HST recoveries), revising the current blanket contract value from $232,143 net of all taxes and charges ($262,322 net of HST recoveries) to $2,655,942 net of all taxes and charges ($2,702,687 net of HST recoveries).
