The purpose of this report is to request authority to amend Blanket Contract Number 47022502 issued to Redflex Traffic Systems (Canada) Limited for the provision of Automated Speed Enforcement Cameras, in the amount of $11,240,779, net of all applicable taxes ($11,438,617 net of Harmonized Sales Tax recoveries) The amendment is required to acquire and implement 75 additional Automated Speed Enforcement Cameras to the Automated Speed Enforcement program as requested by City Council at its meeting on March 29, 30 and 31, 2023.

In 2019, the City launched it's Automated Speed Enforcement program and entered into an agreement with Redflex Traffic Systems (Canada) Limited for the provision of Automated Speed Enforcement Cameras. Blanket Contract Number 47022502 was issued to Redflex Traffic Systems (Canada) Limited as per award of Request for Proposal 9148-19-0048, for a period of five years commencing on July 16, 2019 to July 15, 2024 with an option to extend the contract for one (1) additional five-year (5) term.
