This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Seventeenth Street, between New Toronto Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Seventeenth Street.

The Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council authorize the installation of traffic calming (9 speed humps) on Seventeenth Street, between New Toronto Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West., generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing Number TC-595 and TC-595-1, dated October 2025 from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.
