This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. The Traffic Operations unit in the Transportation Services Division and the Transportation Review unit in the Development Review Division are requesting approval for various parking and traffic regulations, proposed under the Draft Plan of Subdivision Application No. 15 239454 WET 12 SB for the development at 2175 Keele Street, to be implemented on Canon Jackson Drive.

Canon Jackson Drive has been dedicated as public road allowance. Currently there are no traffic or parking regulations on this street. The proposed traffic regulations are consistent with City policies and guidelines given the operation of the roadway and surrounding residential nature.

Staff recommended

The Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services and the Director, Engineering Review, Development Review recommend that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council prohibit parking at all times on both sides of Canon Jackson Drive, between Keele Street and the east limit of Canon Jackson Drive. 2. Etobicoke York Community Council designate a 30 km/h speed limit on Canon Jackson Drive, between Keele Street and the east limit of Canon Jackson Drive.
