This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending stopping be prohibited from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the east side of Marquis Avenue, opposite Lambton-Kingsway Junior Middle School. The proposed amendment will deter parking at this location during school hours and improve student pick-up/drop off safety.

The Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council amend the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on both sides of Marquis Avenue between a point 45.5 metres south of Government Road and a point 65.5 metres south and east thereof to be in effect on the west and south side of Marquis Avenue between a point 45.5 metres south of Government Road and a point 65.5 metres south and east thereof.
