At its meeting held July 5th, 2021 for item 2021.IE23.18 , it was requested that the General Manager, Transportation Services report back to the October 26, 2021 meeting of the Infrastructure and Environment Committee on the cost of building an elevator for residents to access the Eglinton Light Rail Transit from the Wynford community. Based on a high level review, the capital cost to build and install an elevator is estimated to be $7,000,000 with a recurring annual cost of $50,000 in operating and maintenance costs.
